Responsible play
Opening boxes should stay entertainment. It is not a way to make money, and it is not a way to make money back.
Know the shape of it
Every box publishes exactly what is inside it, the chance of each prize, and what we will pay to buy each one back — before you open it. Read them. A box whose prizes are worth more than its price on average does not exist here or anywhere else.
Outcomes are independent. A run of poor results does not make a good one more likely, and nothing you can do changes the odds.
Signs worth taking seriously
- Opening boxes to recover what you have already spent.
- Spending more than you had decided to, or more than you can afford.
- Hiding how much you play from people close to you.
- Feeling anxious, low or irritable when you stop.
- Playing to escape something else.

If play has stopped being fun, talking to someone independent helps more than talking to us. Free, confidential support is available from organisations that have nothing to do with Lootra:
- BeGambleAware — advice and a free national helpline (UK).
- GamCare — free counselling and a 24-hour helpline (UK).
- Gamblers Anonymous — peer support groups, internationally.
Tools like Gamban block this kind of site across all your devices, independently of any setting here.
Under 18
Lootra is strictly for adults. If you are under 18 you may not hold an account, and we close any we find.
