Terms of Service

Lootra is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in [JURISDICTION] under company number [COMPANY NUMBER], with a registered address at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. “We”, “us” and “Lootra” mean that company.

By creating an account or opening a box you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract where you live.
• You must not be accessing Lootra from a territory where doing so is unlawful.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred.

We may ask you to verify your identity or age at any time, and may suspend access until you do.

Your account holds two separate balances, and the difference between them matters:

• Available balance — your own funds. It is made up of what you have deposited, and of credit from items you have sold back. You may withdraw it, subject to the checks below.
• Bonus credit — promotional funds we have given you, including rank rewards and rakeback. It is not withdrawable, it is always spent before your available balance, and it is subject to the terms published with each promotion. It may expire.

Deposits and withdrawals are not enabled yet. Until they are, balances move only when Lootra credits an account or when you sell an item back. This section describes how they will work once a payment provider is live, and we will tell you before that happens.

When withdrawals open, we may require identity, age and source-of-funds verification before processing one, and may return funds by the same method they arrived. We may decline or delay a withdrawal where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or a breach of these terms, or where the law requires it. Withdrawal limits, fees and processing times will be published at that point.

We do not pay interest on any balance, and your funds are not a deposit with a bank.

Every box publishes the full contents of its prize table, the chance of each prize and the value we will pay to buy it back, before you open it. The odds shown are the odds applied.

Outcomes are decided by a provably fair mechanism described on our fairness page and independently checkable using our verification tool. An outcome, once rolled, is final. We do not alter, re-roll or reverse a result.

A box is charged when it is opened. Because the outcome is delivered immediately, an open cannot be cancelled or refunded once made.

After you win an item you may either:

• have it shipped to you, subject to the delivery terms below; or
• sell it back to Lootra for the credit value published on the box before you opened it.

Sell-back is immediate and final. Once sold, an item cannot be recovered or shipped.

Shipping requests are reviewed before dispatch. We ship to the address you provide and are not responsible for an address entered incorrectly. Delivery timescales depend on the item and are not guaranteed.

If an item cannot be sourced or delivered, we will credit you its published sell-back value instead. Title and risk pass to you on delivery.

You must not:

• open more than one account, or use another person's account
• use bots, scripts or automation against the service
• attempt to interfere with the fairness mechanism, or to determine an outcome before it is revealed
• abuse promotions, referral rewards or rank rewards, including by coordinating accounts

We may suspend or close an account, and withhold credit or items obtained through any of the above.

Promotional credit, rank-up rewards and rakeback are issued at our discretion and are subject to the terms published with each. They are bonus credit, and carry every limitation on bonus credit in section 3 — including that they are not withdrawable.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the service, including individual boxes, at any time. Boxes already opened are unaffected.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the value of the credit in your account at the time the claim arose.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We will return any remaining available balance to you, subject to the verification described in section 3. Bonus credit is not returnable and is forfeited on closure. Records we are required to keep are retained as described in our privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the law of [GOVERNING LAW], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction.
